SUNFLEX APPLICATION METHODS
We recommend 3 different application methods according to the intended use of wooden surfaces, aesthetic preferences and maintenance expectations.
GENERAL RULE BEFORE APPLICATION
Before applying on all systems:
- - The surface must be protected against rot, fungi and insects with transparent or colored impregnation.
- - It should be applied evenly with a brush, and the excess should be wiped off with a dry cloth.
- - Drying times must be taken into consideration.

Water Based Colorant
+ 2 Coats of Water Based Varnish
- ADVANTAGES:
- - High performance, long life
- - Vibrant color and shine
- - Maintenance free for up to 5 years
- - 1 layer of water-based translucent colorant is applied, the excess is wiped off, dried for 4-6 hours.
- - After drying, 2 layers of exterior varnish are applied. Wait 1.5-2 hours between coats. (If it exceeds 3 hours, light sanding is done.)
- It should be visually checked every year. If necessary, 1.5-2 coats of renewal can be done after light sanding.
Transparent Impregnation
+ 2 Coats Color Varnish
- ADVANTAGES:
- - Shows the wood texture translucent
- - Balances color differences
- - Provides 5 years of protection
- - 1 layer of water-based impregnation is applied.
- - After drying, 2 layers of colored varnish are applied. (Water based or solvent based)
- It should be visually checked every year. If necessary, 1.5-2 coats of renewal can be done after light sanding.
((Hybrid Oil))
Colorant or Impregnation
+ 1 Layer Natural Oil
- ADVANTAGES:
- - Does not form a film layer.
- - Preserves the natural matte appearance of wood.
- - Ideal for floors and pergolas.
- - Maintenance every 2 years is sufficient.
- - 1 layer of water-based colorant or impregnation is applied.
- - After drying, apply 1 layer of natural wood oil.
- It should be visually checked every year. If necessary, 1.5-2 coats of renewal can be done after light sanding.

WHY MAINTENANCE IS NEEDED?
